The space

Thinking about a getaway? Fairy Lake Beach House is a charming and updated cozy cottage retreat perfect for families and friends. Owned by a local interior designer, this five-bedroom property offers stunning lake views, sandy waters, and a beachfront ideal for guests of all ages. The spacious interior and outdoor living areas provide ample space to relax, dine, and enjoy all-day sunshine and breathtaking sunsets. Take advantage of the available kayaks, paddle boats & SUPs to explore the calm waters, or unwind on the patio overlooking the lake. In the winter, head out snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding on our hill or skating at nearby Arrowhead Provincial Park. The Fairy Lake Beach House promises an unforgettable getaway in one of Huntsville’s most beautiful destinations. Plus with a beautiful hot tub for up to 5 people, you can’t go wrong with this relaxing getaway.

Accommodation:

Master Bedroom: A serene retreat with a luxurious king-sized bed, offering stunning views and direct access to the deck and gorgeous work station.

Second Bedroom: A versatile space with a double bunk twin bed, perfect for children or friends.

Third Bedroom: A cozy room with two twin beds, ideal for guests seeking comfort and relaxation.

Fourth Bedroom: A stylish bedroom featuring a double bed, blending comfort and elegance.

Fifth Bedroom: A bright and welcoming space with a double bed, perfect for a restful night’s sleep located in the basement level.

Bathrooms:

Bathroom 1: A full bathroom with a shower, located in the laundry room for guest convenience is located in the Main level.

Bathroom 2: A spacious bathroom featuring a bath/shower combination, offering the best of both options for guests located on the second floor.

We include all linens including bedding & towels, and a kitchen perfect for cooking large family meals!
Guest access

Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including the private dock, outdoor deck, screen room, and four-season room. Kayak & canoe are available for guest use, and the sandy beach next door is perfect for young children. Enjoy BBQs on the deck or cozy up around the bonfire pit in the evenings.

Other things to note

Our space is located in the woods and we do treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of being surrounded by beautiful mother nature. Should this be of concern to you our space may not be the best fit.

Animals you may see during your stay include deer, black bears, groundhogs, mice, insects.

Important: We are committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification.

Please note: Before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification.

You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Please note that in Winter months, we do get quite a bit of snow. We have shovels and salt available for your use. We do not do any refunds should you not be able to make it to the property in your vehicle due to regular snow that happens in the area. Please come prepared. The road gets plowed by the city and our driveway by an independent contractor, and they come on an as needed basis with a 3 inch snow minimum. Our road is just off the main HWY 60, and fairly flat.
