Mastigouche River – Outdoors – ATVs and snowmobiles welcomed

This cottage for rent in Lanaudière borders the Mastigouche River, 1h30 from Montreal. Nature is the main attraction of Mandeville.

The terrace is equipped with a patio set, including a gas BBQ, so you can enjoy a good meal in the heart of nature. You’ll also have access to the river with two kayaks provided. Please note that the river can be very turbulent, depending on rainfall in the preceding days. The level of the river is variable, sometimes revealing small beaches of sand and stones along the way, and sometimes being tumultuous and inaccessible. Access to the river is by a steep set of steps.

In the evening, the whole family will enjoy gathering around a campfire under the stars. Some may wish to take a dip in the private 4-season spa on the terrace. Whatever the season, the view of the river is soothing.

The cottage is just a short drive from the popular Natur’Eau Spa. For outdoor enthusiasts and hikers, you’ll also be close to the Parc régional des Chutes-du-Calvaire and the Réserve faunique Mastigouche, where you can rent kayaks or canoes. On warmer days, discover the Saint-Gabriel beach, with access to Lac Maskinongé.

In winter, take advantage of the snowmobile and ATV trails close to the cottage. You can leave the cottage directly by snowmobile or ATV to join the official trails. Snowmobile rentals are available just a few minutes from the cottage.
