- Additionnal rules House Rule Description Actions 1. Guests must not exceed the number in the reservation (6 Adults) 2. Please remove shoes upon entering to avoid dirty and mud entering the home. 3. Please leave the property as found during check-in (furniture & items where found). Any furniture and items that are out of place (beyond linens and bedding (blankets etc) will incur additional cleaning fees. 4. All garbage and recycling have to be taken off property at end of stay. Any leftover garbage will start with a minimum cost of $150 to remove. There is no pick-up service available here by the town. 5. Make sure all outdoor fires are finished prior to leaving the property, and indoor fireplace is completely out. 6. Please leave the dishwasher running prior to leaving. 7. Our property is meant for residential use only. Hosting parties or events that exceed the maximum occupancy is strictly prohibited. Any house parties that are not approved, will have a charge of $3000. 8. Please pick up after your pets when they go potty. There is a $50 additional pet fee to cover any additional cleaning of the property. 9. No glass or food is allowed in the hot tub or Sauna. If the hot tub needs to be emptied after your stay due to contamination, a $500 minimum fee will apply* * Contamination can include: Bodily Fluids (Blood, Vomit, Feces, etc), Broken Glass, Food & other Debri not normal in the hot tub. The hot tub also has a liner that is sensitive to sharp objects, so please be careful with entering the hot tub, and clothing to not have any sharp corners. Guests will be responsible for broken liners. It is $1000 to replace. Any guest who fails to comply is subject to eviction of the property with no refunds, as well as additional penalties like cleaning fees, legal action, etc.
Cancellation Policy
- If the booking is canceled less than twenty-four (24) hours after the booking is made the Guest is refunded all monies unless the booking is within seven (7) days. If the booking is canceled more than 60 days before the booking date, the Guest is eligible to get a 100% refund less a 4% of the total reservation admin fee. If the booking is cancelled less than sixty (60) days, more than thirty (30) days before the booking date, the Guest is eligible to a 50% refund less a 4% of the total reservation admin fee. If the guest cancels less than one thirty (30) days before the booking date there will be a complete loss of all monies paid. You are booking with a provider that charges us 4% of the total reservation fee even if you cancel your booking instantly. If you accept this reservation and choose to cancel even a minute later for any reason, 4% of the entire payment will not be refunded to you, regardless of the cancellation policy.

Fall and winter are coming, and Lost Tree Lakehouse is the perfect spot for your getaway in our cozy cottage in the woods. Our kitchen is fully stocked with a full-size fridge and stove, ideal for cooking up your favorite dishes. Love the smell of a wood fireplace? We got you covered! This property includes a beautiful indoor wood stove to give you the full experience of a cabin in the woods – wood included!
Located right on Redstone Lake, our property offers direct access to a variety of activities, including an all-season hot tub, sauna, kayaking, and canoeing (Please note our dock gets removed at the end of August to mid-September, depending on the season). Access to the water is via the stairs during the Fall months, should you wish to use our water toys. The area is also great for biking, hiking, snowshoeing & sledding. Make your fall & winter memorable with a stay at Lost Tree Lakehouse!
Our upper deck that is located just outside the lakehouse you will find a 6 seater hot tub with views of the forest and the iconic lost tree, bbq, lounge chairs and outdoor dining space.

BATHROOMS:
The lakehouse has 2 full bathrooms each with a beautiful stand-up shower with impressive water pressure. There is one bathroom on each floor of the property.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
For those looking for an adventure, the Lakehouse is located 20 minutes away from the Haliburton Forest where some of the best snowmobiling, ATV’ing and dog sledding can be found in the winter months and a 30 minute drive to Sir Sam’s Ski & Bike.
WINTER: Please note that in Winter months a vehicle with All Wheel Drive or 4×4 is required to access the property due to the nature of the cottage road.
