Tremblant: A Paradise for Epicureans

Written by: Nathalie Rivard

🍷 Tremblant: A Food Lover’s Paradise

You’ve rented a cottage in the Tremblant region, and you can’t wait to discover the area’s best local gourmet experiences?
When staying at a cottage, most people prefer to eat in and make the most of their getaway — so how can you enjoy delicious local food during your stay, especially in these post-pandemic times?

Easy: takeout and ready-to-eat meals!
It’s the best of both worlds — you’ll have more time for your favorite outdoor activities, and when you return to the chalet, dinner is already taken care of.
Tremblant truly is a dream destination for epicureans, offering a wide range of local products and gourmet discoveries.
Here are a few must-try ideas for your next stay:

To start your evening right, À L’Apéro offers beautiful gourmet platters — available in both regional and vegan options.
Each box comes packed with local treats — enough for a full meal for one or a perfect sharing board for two.
Pair it with a bottle of wine or a craft beer from Microbrasserie St-Arnould, and you’ll be all set for a festive, cozy night by the fire.
Just remember to order at least 24 hours in advance!

The good news? Nearly every restaurant in Tremblant now offers takeout menus.
Check out Tremblant Restaurants for a full list of options — and if restrictions change, Tourisme Mont-Tremblant keeps an updated list of takeout-friendly spots online.

Among our favorites: Seb l’Artisan Culinaire — a local gem that’s quickly becoming a regional classic.
Bonus: many restaurants now sell wine to-go and will even recommend the perfect pairing for your meal.

Craving cheese fondue?
Local company SOS Fondue offers delicious, ready-to-serve fondues that both kids and adults will love.
Based in the Laurentians, you can find their products at IGA Extra Robert Tellier or Bourassa Market in Tremblant.
Our favorites? The Valaisanne and the Brassicole — both irresistible!

🍯 Local Gourmet Products

No foodie trip to Tremblant is complete without tasting the products from Gourmet Sauvage.
Their balsam fir syrup and haskap berry syrup are perfect for elevating your gin and tonic.

Try their cheese condiment trio — a great companion for local Quebec cheeses — or their wild mushrooms like boletes and forest blends, ideal for a creamy homemade risotto (Ricardo has an excellent recipe online!).
Just don’t forget to rehydrate the mushrooms before cooking.
You’ll find their products at many Tremblant shops, including St-Amour Urban Grocery.

Parmi les incontournables produits gourmands, il y a ceux de Gourmet Sauvage. Leurs sirops de sapin baumier ou de camerise sont parfaits dans un gin-tonic.

🍫 For Chocolate Lovers
