The cottage is located on a low-traffic lake, making it a great alternative to busier cottage regions while still keeping you close to everything you need.

Boats, Dock, Swimming and Fishing

The Northern Nest includes several watercraft so you can make the most of your stay by the lake. A paddle boat, canoe, kayak, and aluminum boat are provided, along with life jackets.

Spend the day exploring the shoreline, swimming off the dock, or fishing right from the property. The private dock is also perfect for relaxing in the sun, watching the water, or enjoying a quiet evening by the lake.

Outdoor Living and Family Fun

The cottage offers multiple decks and seating areas where you can enjoy sunrise coffee, sunset drinks, or meals outdoors. A propane BBQ is available for easy cottage meals, and the outdoor fire pit creates the perfect gathering spot at the end of the day.

Families and groups will also appreciate the indoor and outdoor games provided, including Giant Connect Four, ladder golf, a basketball net, books, puzzles, and board games.

The Northern Nest is located near Trout Creek on Sausage Lake, approximately 3 hours north of Toronto. The cottage is also close to Algonquin Park and several golf courses, making it a great base for exploring Northern Ontario.

Please Note

The cottage has a minimum stay of 7 nights and a maximum stay of 30 nights.

No smoking is allowed inside the cottage.

Parties are not permitted.

Firewood is available on request for $15 per wheelbarrow.
