When a new Hot Deal is published, members receive it by email. The offer is exclusive and remains available until a traveler books it.

Once the booking is confirmed, the Hot Deal is reserved and is no longer available to other travelers.

Hot Deals are sent directly by email to Cottage Discount members.

Each listing is created and managed directly by the owner or property manager. They are responsible for setting prices, managing availability, synchronizing calendars, establishing rental terms, and handling bookings.

Yes. When you find a cottage you’re interested in, you communicate directly with the owner or property manager.

Cottage Discount helps connect you, but the booking, payment terms, and stay details are confirmed directly with the person responsible for the cottage.

Some owners adjust their prices directly based on the dates and season. In these cases, the displayed price may closely reflect the period you are searching for.

Other property managers oversee multiple cottages and instead use a “starting from” price. This generally represents the low-season rate, such as during spring or fall.

Yes. This is important to understand.

A “starting from” price generally represents the lowest rate available during the year. During peak periods, such as summer, the holiday season, or certain high-demand weekends, the regular cottage rate may be higher.

Your member discount always applies to the actual price for the dates you wish to book. You therefore still receive the applicable discount, even if the final price is higher than the “starting from” price shown on the listing.

Just like hotels, cottage rates may vary depending on the season, days of the week, events, holiday periods, and demand.

Owners and property managers set their own rates. Cottage Discount does not determine the prices of the cottages listed on the platform.

Owners and property managers are responsible for keeping their listings, calendars, and prices up to date.

Cottage Discount provides the platform to showcase cottages and connect travelers with owners and property managers, but we do not directly control the calendars or rates for each property.

We always recommend sending an email first. This allows the owner or property manager to confirm your membership status before proceeding with the booking.

On a mobile phone, a “Book” button appears at the bottom of the cottage listing.

By tapping this button, you will see the member and non-member prices, along with a button that allows you to become a member and take advantage of last-minute discounts.

Once your membership is activated, the contact form will appear so you can communicate directly with the cottage owner or property manager.
