In the summer, enjoy the freshness of the nearby river for a dip or take a ride with the two kayaks provided (access is a 2-minute walk away). Fishing enthusiasts might have the chance to catch bass, muskellunge, or smelt. For swimming, bring water shoes or sandals as the water’s bottom is generally rocky and sandy.
The cottage is just a few minutes’ drive from the popular Natur’Eau Spa. For outdoor and hiking enthusiasts, you will be close to the Parc régional des Chutes-du-Calvaire and the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve.
In winter, take advantage of the nearby snowmobile and ATV trails. You can directly access the official trails from the cottage by snowmobile or ATV.
