Nestled in the heart of nature, on the shores of the private Lac Lavigne, you’ll find a peaceful retreat perfect for fully escaping your daily routine. Located just 10 minutes from the village of Sainte-Béatrix, in the beautiful Lanaudière region, this chalet rental is set on a vast wooded property of nearly 200 acres, shared with only two other chalets rental. Our guests return year after year, charmed by the beauty of the setting and the tranquility that surrounds it.

For smaller groups, Le Petit Pic, located on the same expansive property, can accommodate up to 8 people, offering an ideal option to comfortably host everyone while enjoying the peace and beauty of the location.

Come recharge your energy in every season! In summer, the lake, fed by several small springs, invites you to swim in its pure waters. Motorboats are prohibited, but feel free to bring your paddle-powered watercraft to fully enjoy the lake. Two kayaks and two paddleboards are also available for your use. You will also be less than 25 minutes by car from Golf de Matha.

Please note that fishing is not permitted on the lake, and access as well as activities on the lake are prohibited during winter and freeze-thaw periods. Access to the lake is at users’ own risk.

A large yard awaits you, where children can play safely while you relax in the sun on the terrace.

In winter, don’t forget your snowshoes! You can go hiking in the forest. In the beautiful Lanaudière region, winter activities abound. Bring your skis and visit one of the nearby ski centers (Ski Val Saint-Côme or Ski Montcalm). You will also be about 20 minutes from Super Glissades Saint-Jean-de-Matha and Montagne Coupée for cross-country skiing. The chalet can also be accessed by snowmobile via snowmobile trail #349 of the Circuit du Montagnard.

After a day outdoors, relax in the private four-season spa, with its view of the lake and surrounding forest.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES

This large fully renovated cottage is appreciated for its large open space, letting in the sun throughout the day. The open area includes a play area with its table for playing cards, the living room with its wood-burning fireplace and the dining room. This room is glazed all along the outdoor terrace, offering you a privileged view of nature and the body of water. The kitchen is practical with its long counters, leaving plenty of room for the whole family to participate in the preparation of meals. Two bedrooms, a bathroom and a powder room complete this floor.

On the lower level, you’ll find a game room with a shuffleboard table, bistro tables, and a wood-burning stove with a glass door. There is also a large dormitory-style bedroom as well as a versatile room that can serve as an additional bedroom (with a Queen bed). This room features a patio door that opens to the woods, along with furniture equipped with coat hooks. A large bathroom completes the space.

Main floor: Open area including living room and dining room / kitchen / 2 closed bedrooms with 1 King bed each / 1 bathroom / 1 powder room.
