This beautiful chalet for rent in Piopolis, in the Eastern Townships, will charm you with its natural and peaceful setting. Nestled on a quiet country road, surrounded by a maple grove, and offering a stunning view of Lake Mégantic, Le Chalumo is the perfect place for your family or friends vacation. With its comfortable bedrooms and inviting common areas, this property has everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

In the summer, enjoy safe and refreshing swimming. Just 2 minutes on foot from the chalet, a grassy area gives you access to two kayaks available for your use, allowing you to explore the crystal-clear waters of Lake Mégantic. Please note that this access is for passage only. For motorboat enthusiasts, the Piopolis marina is just minutes away, where you can reserve a dock and use the public boat launch ramp. Fishing is excellent here, with common catches including bass, perch, and both gray and rainbow trout.

At Baie-des-Sables beach, you can rent watercraft and enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. The Aerial Park offers a tree-to-tree obstacle course for the whole family, while cyclists will appreciate the 18+ km bike path that winds through the region, with rental options available on site.

Less than 20 minutes away, Mont-Mégantic National Park awaits with its amazing hiking trails. Be sure to visit the ASTROLab and the Astronomical Observatory for a chance to explore the starry sky, with guided tours available. This chalet offers a cozy space with a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing delicious meals with family or friends. The spacious dining area allows you to share enjoyable moments around a good meal. The basement features a living room with a pull-out couch, while the two bedrooms provide optimal comfort. The ground floor also includes a game room for entertaining both kids and adults, as well as a full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. It’s the perfect setting for a vacation that combines relaxation and fun.
