A Unique Stay in the Heart of the Eastern Townships

Le Wagon de Marie welcomes you to a peaceful setting surrounded by mountains, forest, and nature. Its location near Mont-Mégantic makes it a perfect destination for guests who enjoy starry skies, hiking, and tranquility.

Between July 20 and August 25, the Perseids light up the sky each year. Thanks to the region’s low light pollution, the site offers an ideal setting for stargazing and peaceful evenings under the stars.

Private Hot Tub, Sunset Views and Nature Relaxation

After a day of activities, relax in the private hot tub, available year-round. Cooler days become more enjoyable, and summer evenings feel even more magical.

End the day by admiring the sunset, gathering around a campfire, or simply listening to the gentle sounds of the surrounding nature.

Lake Access and Shared Watercraft

During the warmer season, enjoy the lake with the watercraft available on site. A launch ramp allows you to put the pedal boat, kayak, canoe, or rowboat in the water.

On hot summer days, you can also cool off with a short swim or simply dip your feet in the water from the dock.

Please note that motorboats are not allowed on this lake.

Private Trails, Observation Tower and On-Site Activities

The site includes a private 5 km trail network, perfect for walking, breathing in the fresh air, and admiring the scenery. Along the trails, you will find an observation tower offering a view of the Mont-Mégantic Observatory.

Bring your lunch, take time to meditate, practise yoga, or simply enjoy the mountain views, the forest sounds, and the peaceful atmosphere.

In the shared areas of the complex, you can admire the landscaped grounds, enjoy the designated campfire areas, and use the climbing wall available during your stay.

This unique three-season accommodation is available only from May to mid-October.

The shared areas, trails, watercraft, and lake access are shared with two other cottages in the complex: Domaine Le Convivial and Le Chalet de Cèdres.

Since this is a private lake and the owners do not hold an outfitter’s permit, fishing is not allowed on this lake. Fishing enthusiasts can visit Ferme du Péché Mignon, located approximately 2 km away.

The owners accept 2 small dogs under 15 pounds. Fees apply.
