The property extends over approximately 100 acres, from the lake to the top of the hill behind the cottage. Its elevated location offers beautiful views of Lake Aylmer and the surrounding landscape.

The large grounds provide plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, relax and spend time together away from the pace of everyday life.

Lake access and watercraft

Guests can drive down to the waterfront, making it much easier to transport and launch watercraft.

The owner provides:

• 2 rowboats
• 4 kayaks
• 1 pedal boat
• Adult-size life jackets

To reach the main section of Lake Aylmer by boat, you must pass under a bridge.

The bridge is approximately 11 feet high and 7 feet wide, although these dimensions may vary depending on the lake level. There is approximately 6 feet of clearance between the water surface and the underside of the bridge.

Pontoons with removable roofs can generally pass under the bridge. Boats with fixed roofs or wakeboard towers cannot.

For larger boats, a free municipal boat launch is available on the other side of the bridge, approximately 2 km away.

The property grounds are monitored by security cameras. The cameras are directed toward the entrances.

The dock and watercraft are available from Patriots’ Weekend through Thanksgiving Weekend, inclusive.
