Please note that this water access is a right-of-way only and is reserved for kayak-type watercraft.

Kayaks, Swimming, Marina and Fishing

During the warmer months, two kayaks are available so you can discover Lac Mégantic. Watercraft are available from Patriots’ Weekend through Thanksgiving Weekend, inclusive.

For guests with motorboats, the Piopolis marina is located only a few minutes away. There, you can reserve a dock and use the municipal boat launch.

Fishing is excellent in the area, with common catches including bass, yellow perch, lake trout, and rainbow trout.

Private Hot Tub, BBQ and Evenings by the Fire

After a full day of activities, enjoy a delicious meal prepared on the BBQ, then gather around the outdoor fire pit to extend the evening in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

At Baie-des-Sables Beach, you can rent watercraft and enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities. The tree-to-tree aerial park offers an adventure course for the whole family, while cycling enthusiasts will appreciate the cycling path of more than 18 km, with rental options available on site.

Less than 20 minutes away, Mont-Mégantic National Park offers beautiful hiking trails. The ASTROLab and astronomical observatory are also worth visiting for an immersion into the starry sky, with guided tours available.
