Enjoy a cottage to rent directly on the banks of the beautiful Lake Aylmer in Stratford, at the limits of the Eastern Townships and Chaudières-Appalaches. Here, tranquility is assured. Wake up each morning with the sunrise and enjoy the equally splendid sunset reflecting on the surface of the lake.

Lake Aylmer is ideal for all kinds of nautical activities, such as swimming, fishing and boat trips. The fishing is good, with its many varieties of fish, including bass, walleye, muskellunge, pike and many others. You will find on site a kayak, one 14-foot rowboat and a pedal boat. On foot, you can also take a foresty path, 2 minutes away from the cottage, to reach the campsite beach, about 10 minutes away on foot.

In winter, you can enjoy many winter activities on site and in the region. If the ice allows, go snowshoeing or cross-country skiing on the frozen lake and breathe in the fresh country air! A taste for ice fishing? Bring your gear, and enjoy fishing even in winter. For alpine ski enthusiasts, Mount Adstock, 25 minutes away from the cottage, is waiting for you. Snow tubing and snowshoe trails are also available on this mountain. ATV trails are 1.5 km from the cottage and snowmobile trails are approximately 8 km away.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES

This cottage for rent is nice and cozy, and has a lot of woodworks which brings a warm touch to the house, especially in the common areas of the house. The living room is very pleasant for relaxing by the burning wood stove, without forgetting its access to the outdoor terrace. The kitchen, annexed to the dining room is very luminous thanks to the many windows overlooking the lake. You will also find 2 closed bedrooms and 1 bathroom on this floor. The basement serves as a large family room and also has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Main floor (with split-level entrance): Kitchen / Dining room / Living room / 1 closed bedroom with 1 Queen bed and 1 twin bed / 1 closed bedroom with 1 Queen bed and 1 twin bed / Bathroom with washer and dryer.
Lower floor: Living room / 2 closed bedroom with 1 Queen bed / Bathroom.
