A Unique Location with Views of the St. Francis River

The property borders the St. Francis River and offers beautiful views of the water and the valley. Please note, however, that the waterfront is not directly accessible from the property. The main feature on site is the panoramic view of the river and the surrounding landscape.

To enjoy swimming and watercraft, a municipal boat launch is located less than 500 metres from the cottage. Depending on the water level, a small sandy beach may also be accessible.

In summer, the river is often low enough to walk along its banks. When the river is high, the current can be very strong. Wearing a life jacket is mandatory.

Kayaks and Water Activities

To make the most of the summer season, Au Bec du Canard provides 5 kayaks as well as a wheeled carrier to help transport the watercraft more easily to the municipal access point.

The area is ideal for kayaking, relaxing on the water, observing nature, and enjoying the calm of the St. Francis River.

Please note that between Thanksgiving Weekend and Patriots’ Weekend, the availability of watercraft cannot be guaranteed.

Four-Season Private Hot Tub and Outdoor Fire Pit

To add a relaxing touch to your stay, the cottage offers a private four-season hot tub. After a day outdoors or time on the water, it is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the quiet countryside.

An outdoor fire pit area is also set up on site, with firewood provided. Evenings around the fire with family or friends are some of the most memorable moments at Au Bec du Canard.

Thanks to its large picture windows with views of the river, the cottage is filled with natural light throughout the day. The indoor atmosphere is welcoming, peaceful, and perfect for gathering.

The main floor features an open-concept area combining the living room, kitchen, and dining room. This bright space makes it easy to cook, eat, and relax while enjoying views of the surrounding nature.

The cottage includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bathroom has a shower, and one also includes a bathtub. The layout is ideal for families and groups while maintaining comfort and privacy.
