Lac de La Ferme is known for its clear water, making it a popular spot for swimming during the warmer months. Water access is directly from the cottage grounds, with a gentle slope leading into the lake for an easy and enjoyable shoreline experience.

Direct Lake Access and Watercraft

Make the most of Lac de La Ferme with the two kayaks provided for your stay. Enjoy a peaceful morning paddle, an evening outing on the water, or simply relax by the dock and take in the scenery.

Please note that motorboats are permitted for residents only.

Personal watercraft are not permitted at this cottage. The municipality requires cleaning and a permit sticker for any watercraft launched on the lake. Since the municipal washing station is not always open and its hours may change without notice, the watercraft provided on site are the easiest way to enjoy the lake without any concerns.

Covered Private Hot Tub and Outdoor Fire Pit

After a day exploring the area or enjoying the lake, relax in the private covered therapeutic hot tub, available in every season. Whether it is raining, snowing, or a clear night under the stars, this sheltered space adds comfort and relaxation to your stay.

In the evening, gather around the outdoor fire pit and enjoy time together with family or friends. Firewood is provided for your stay so you can make the most of memorable campfire evenings.

Things to Do in the Portneuf Region

The wood stove in the lower level is no longer available.

The paddleboard shown in some summer photos has not been available since Thanksgiving 2025.

The property grounds are monitored by security cameras. The cameras are directed toward the parking area only.

The dock and watercraft are available from Patriots’ Weekend through Thanksgiving Weekend, inclusive.
