The fresh air of the forest and the surrounding mountains, the singing of the birds around the house, this is what greets you upon your arrival!

The sound of the Mastigouche river will be a lullaby to the ears weather you are seated in a chair near the river or relaxing in the private 4 season spa.

The cottage L’Autrefois is the neighbour of L’Ancêtre, its’ twin cottage! It is possible to rent out both cottages for larger groups.

The cottage rental is located at a 5-minute drive from the popular Natur’Eau Spa. For the outdoor and hiking enthusiasts, you will also be close to the Parc régional des Chutes-du-Calvaire and the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve where you can rent kayaks or canoes. For warmer days, discover the beach of Saint-Gabriel, giving access to Lake Maskinongé.

In winter, take advantage of the snowmobile and ATV trails near the cottage. It is possible to leave the chalet directly by snowmobile or ATV to reach the official trails.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES

This cottage rental combines perfectly the traditional with the modern, bringing a warm atmosphere. Although small, its pretty kitchen is fully equipped for preparing and sharing hearty meals with family or friends around the rustic dining room table. Entertainment and fun await at the pool table. During the day, you will enjoy a splendid view of the river even from the interior, thanks to the large windows of the living room, and in the evening, you will be able to snuggle up by the fireplace for tender moments all together. In the early morning, the rooms are bathed in light that will awaken you for another day full of adventures.
