With beautiful mountain views, 5 km of private trails and several spaces designed for group stays, this property offers an exceptional setting for family gatherings, trips with friends or corporate retreats.

Surrounded by peaceful nature, Domaine Le Convivial can accommodate up to 23 guests across the main cottage, a studio and the Le Convivial unit. It is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors, relax in the private hot tub, admire the sunsets and create unforgettable memories together.

A nature retreat with private trails and mountain views

Step outside and explore 5 km of private trails winding through the property. Your walks may lead you to an observation tower with views toward the Mont-Mégantic Observatory.

Bring a picnic and take time to enjoy the scenery, practice yoga, meditate or simply take in the sounds and scents of the surrounding forest. The complex also includes landscaped common areas, designated firepit areas and a climbing wall available during your stay.

An exceptional location for stargazing

Domaine Le Convivial is located within the world’s first International Dark Sky Reserve, making it an incredible place to observe the night sky away from light pollution. Between July 20 and August 25, the Perseid meteor shower lights up the sky each year and creates an especially memorable experience for astronomy lovers and anyone who enjoys evenings under the stars.

After a day of activities, unwind in the private year-round hot tub, enjoy the mountain views or gather around a campfire while the stars shine overhead.

Lake access and summer activities

During the summer, enjoy the lake for a refreshing swim, a peaceful paddle or simply to dip your feet from the dock. A launch ramp is available for the watercraft provided on site, including a pedal boat, kayak, canoe and rowboat.

Motorized boats are not permitted on this lake, helping preserve a calm and peaceful atmosphere for everyone. Fishing is not allowed in this private lake, as the owners do not hold an outfitter’s permit.

Fishing enthusiasts can visit Ferme du Péché Mignon, located about 2 km from the property. Just 5 minutes away, Lake Saint-François also offers great opportunities for water activities. Guests can use the boat launch at Complexe La Source, located at the Saint-Romain marina.

A cottage rental to enjoy in every season

In winter, snowmobile and ATV trails are located near the cottage. It is possible to leave directly from the property by snowmobile or ATV to connect with the official trail network.

Layout and sleeping arrangements

Domaine Le Convivial includes three separate living spaces and can accommodate up to 23 guests.

• Main cottage – sleeps up to 14 guests
  Upper level: open-concept kitchen, dining area and living room; one bedroom with a queen bed; one bedroom with a king bed; one bedroom with a trundle bed; one sofa bed; one full bathroom with a bathtub; and one full bathroom with a shower.
  Garden level: open-concept kitchen, dining area and living room; one bedroom with a double bed; one bedroom with a king bed; one bedroom with a queen bed; one sofa bed; one bathroom with a shower; and a laundry room.
• Studio – sleeps up to 2 guests
  Kitchen, living area, bathroom with shower and one queen Murphy bed.
• Le Convivial – sleeps up to 7 guests
  Kitchen and dining area, two single sofa beds, one Murphy bed, one bedroom with a double-over-single bunk bed and one single-over-single bunk bed, plus one bathroom with a shower.

Important note about shared areas

Please note that the common areas, trails, watercraft and lake access are shared with two other cottages that are part of the complex. The complex includes Domaine Le Convivial, Le Wagon de Marie and Le Chalet de Cèdres, which are also available to rent on our platform.

Pets welcome

The owners accept up to two small dogs weighing less than 15 lb. Additional fees apply.
