Welcome to À l’Eau Claire du Lac Nicolet, a warm and peaceful cottage rental located in Saint-Marthyrs-Canadiens, directly on the beautiful shores of Lake Nicolet. Set on a large wooded lot, this family-friendly property offers privacy, comfort and a wonderful natural setting for guests who enjoy swimming, outdoor activities and relaxing by the water.

Fed by crystal-clear spring water, Lake Nicolet is a beautiful place to swim and enjoy summer days. Access to the water is gradual, with a gentle slope and a small-rock bottom, making it enjoyable for both children and adults. Watercraft are provided so you can explore the calm waters and scenic shoreline of the lake at your own pace.

Fishing enthusiasts will also appreciate the variety of fish found in the lake, including three species of trout. Motorboats are permitted and may be docked at the property’s private dock. However, all motorized boats must be launched from the nearby municipal boat launch in Saint-Marthyrs-Canadiens.

Important – Watercraft Regulations

Motorboats are permitted on Lake Nicolet. However, it is strictly forbidden to launch any watercraft directly from the cottage property.

For all motorized watercraft, launching must be done through the municipal boat launch. A boat wash is mandatory before entering the lake in order to protect water quality. The cleaning station is located at 13, chemin du Village, and fees apply.

Nature lovers will be charmed by the colourful forests surrounding the cottage and Lake Nicolet. Depending on the season, enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledding and many other outdoor activities nearby. Located less than 20 km from the property, Mont Ham offers beautiful trails and panoramic views to enjoy year-round. During winter, Mont Gleason is also nearby for alpine skiing and tubing.

After a full day outdoors, unwind in the private four-season hot tub or gather around the outdoor fire pit with family and friends. Firewood is provided so you can fully enjoy peaceful evenings under the stars.

À l’Eau Claire du Lac Nicolet stands out for its large windows, open-concept living spaces and spacious veranda, allowing you to enjoy natural light and views of the surrounding forest throughout the year.

The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. The open-concept kitchen, dining area and living room create a welcoming space where everyone can gather after a day on the lake or exploring the region.

During cooler weather, the slow-combustion wood-burning fireplace located in the lower level adds warmth and comfort. Please note that the fireplace on the main floor is decorative only and is not functional.

The cottage includes four closed bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers, providing a practical layout for family vacations and getaways with friends.

• Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors.
• The property grounds are monitored by security cameras facing the parking area.
• The dock and watercraft are available from the Victoria Day long weekend through Thanksgiving weekend, inclusive.
