Welcome to Au Pied des Érables, a spacious country cottage rental located in Saint-François-Xavier-de-Brompton, in Quebec’s beautiful Eastern Townships. Set on a very large property with its own maple grove and a small semi-private lake, this cottage is ideal for family reunions, group getaways and relaxing stays with friends in every season.

With six closed bedrooms, three bathrooms, large indoor and outdoor spaces, and several additional sleeping options, the cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 20 guests.

A large outdoor space to enjoy nature

During the summer, make the most of the property’s wide-open space for outdoor games, sports or simply relaxing in a peaceful country setting. Children will enjoy the play structure with swings and a slide, while adults can unwind by the pool or enjoy the surrounding grounds.

The small semi-private lake near the cottage offers a quiet place to spend time in nature. Two kayaks are available for guests to explore the water at their own pace or enjoy a fun family outing. There are also a few fish in the lake, so you are welcome to fish for fun.

Please note that the section of the lake directly in front of the cottage contains a significant amount of aquatic vegetation, which can make swimming less enjoyable in that area. The pool is therefore a great option for cooling off on warm summer days.

After a full day outdoors, relax in the private four-season hot tub or gather around the outdoor fire pit beneath the starry country sky.

Trails, snowmobiling and outdoor activities in every season

The property includes several trails that are perfect for walking and enjoying nature. In winter, these trails can also be used for snowmobiling. A local snowmobile trail passes near the cottage and can be accessed from the road, connecting you to the regional snowmobile trail network.

The maple grove adds a unique charm to the property, especially during maple syrup season. Please note that during this period, the owners work in the sugar shack building located approximately 150 metres from the cottage.

Between Thanksgiving weekend and the Victoria Day long weekend, we cannot guarantee that the dock will be installed or that the watercraft will be available.

A fully equipped cottage for large groups

This spacious home has everything needed to welcome large groups comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals throughout your stay, while the two living rooms offer plenty of space for everyone to relax.

On the main floor, the living room with a wood-burning fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere on cooler days. A den with a sofa bed can also be used as an additional bedroom thanks to its sliding doors.

In the lower level, you will find a second living room with a television, several closed bedrooms and a multifunctional room with a sofa bed that can also serve as an additional sleeping space.

For entertainment, a pool table is available in the garage attached to the cottage. The home is also decorated during the holiday season, adding an extra magical touch to winter stays.
