About the Au Refuge Boisé
Located in Stukely-Sud, near Orford, in the heart of the Eastern Townships, this cottage for rent will warmly welcome you for a stay with family or friends, for a weekend or for a well-deserved vacation. Come and stay in the beautiful countryside of Stukely, time to unwind from your daily life and come and fill up on nature! The cottage is located in the heart of the woods, in a small, quiet neighborhood.
The property is ideal for a family holiday. The yard is perfect for children who can have fun on the payground and in the wooded area. The inviting terrace will allow you to prepare and enjoy your meals outdoors, or simply relax in the sun with a drink in hand. In the evening, take advantage of the fireplace with wood provided to gather all together around a good outdoor fire. The starry sky of the countryside will make you dream! For increased relaxation, slide into the private 4-season hot tub.
The region is full of activities to do near the cottage. Mont Orford National Park is just 20 minutes away, where hiking and downhill skiing are popular activities. Cross-country ski trails and some fat bike trails are also set up in this park. If you have enough time, take a trip to Owl’s Head and Bromont to discover all the other ski slopes in the region.
For a day at the beach, head to Stukely Beach or Fraser Lake in Mont Orford National Park. At the two beaches of the park, there is the possibility of renting boats for the day, whether they are kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards or canoes.
The Magog and Orford region is full of restaurants, small shops and attractions to visit. A little detour to Magog is worth it before your return home. The Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is well known for a walk with a view of Mont Orford. Everything is less than 30 minutes from the chalet.
