Mount Mégantic and its observatory are located approximately 5 minutes from the property. This makes Chalet Gemini an ideal destination for astronomy enthusiasts, hikers and anyone wishing to discover the remarkable scenery of the Eastern Townships.

Private Hot Tub, Large Terrace and Outdoor Games in the Forest

Outside, enjoy a large two-level terrace, perfect for sharing a meal, relaxing in the sun or taking in the forest views. The private four-season hot tub is ready for a relaxing experience surrounded by nature after a day of hiking, outdoor activities or exploring the region.

An outdoor firepit is also available for extending conversations with family and friends under the stars.

Children can enjoy the forest play area, which includes a ninja warrior-style obstacle course, climbing tower, Finnish throwing game and kubb game.

Please note that the cottage offers a good level of privacy, although other cottages may still be visible through the trees.

Lake Mégantic, Piopolis and Outdoor Activities Nearby

Located approximately 15 minutes from the charming village of Piopolis, Chalet Gemini makes it easy to discover Lake Mégantic and the surrounding region. Enjoy the public beach for swimming or explore nearby forest and riverside hiking trails.

Canoes and kayaks can also be rented for an additional fee to explore Lake Mégantic from the water. The Piopolis heritage and history route is another great option for visitors interested in local culture and history.

The Lac-Mégantic marina is located approximately 25 to 30 minutes from the cottage and is a great destination for boating and water-sport enthusiasts.

In winter, snowmobilers can access local trails directly from the cottage road and connect to the federated trail network. ATV trails are also nearby, approximately 5 km from the property.
