Located in the Eastern Townships, in the heart of the most beautiful landscapes of the region, this large luxurious cottage for 14 people has everything you need for an exceptional stay with family, friends or for your corporate events. Please note that parties and bachelor/bachelorette parties are not permitted at the cottage! The cottage could not be better located, with its privileged access to the Route Verte bike path, along the limits of the property’s wooded lot. Directly at the foot of the Pic-de-l’Ours mountain, belonging to Mont Orford, there are many outdoor activities, summer and winter alike. One stay is not enough to see everything!

By taking the bike path, you will have 15 minutes to cycle to get to Stukely Beach in the Mont Orford National Park. Still on the bike path, a few minutes’ walk will take you to the start of the trail leading to the summit of Pic-de-l’Ours. A little further, there is also the possibility of going to the trails of Mont Chauve. By car, Fraser Lake located 15 minutes from the cottage also offers a beautiful sandy beach with clear water. At the park’s two beaches, it is possible to rent boats for the day, whether kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards or canoes.

No need to travel too far to enjoy your stay in the region. If you prefer to stay on site and enjoy the cottage, a private swimming pool awaits you for a swim in the sun. The salt pool is heated and fenced. A private 4-season hot tub is also at your disposal for a moment of relaxation. To warm you up, an outdoor gas fireplace will allow you to enjoy the outdoors as the evening progresses. Please be mindfull of the neighbours while your group is outside during the evening. You may enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit, but make sure to respect the neighbours’ quiet and peacefull area.

In winter, the cycle path turns into a cross-country ski trail and snowshoe walking trails. Additional cross-country ski trails and some fat bike trails are also available in Parc du Mont Orford. For downhill skiing enthusiasts, take a 15-minute drive to get to the slopes of Mont Orford. If you have enough time, take a trip to Owl’s Head and Bromont to discover all the other ski slopes in the region.

The Magog and Orford region is full of restaurants, small shops and attractions to visit. A short detour to Magog is worthwhile before you return home. The Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is well known for a walk with a view of Mont Orford. Everything is 20 minutes from the cottage.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES 

The large bay windows of the house offer you a privileged view of the forest and the summit of the Pic-de-L’Ours, while letting the living room flood with beautiful light throughout the day. The open area of the main floor includes the kitchen, the dining room and the living room with its gas fireplace. You will find patio doors opening onto a small terrace where it is good to relax and contemplate nature.
