A cottage directly on Lake Aylmer

The cottage’s close proximity to Lake Aylmer creates a beautiful setting throughout your stay. From the living room or dining area, the large windows make you feel almost directly on the water while offering peaceful lake views at any time of day.

The dock is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee, stretch out in the sun, fish or simply take in the calm of the waterfront. It can also be used to moor your own boat during your stay. At the end of the dock, the water is usually about five feet deep.

Kayaks, pedal boat, swimming and fishing

Lake Aylmer is perfect for swimming and water activities. To explore the area from the water, several watercraft are available directly at the cottage:

• Two kayaks
• One pedal boat

Fishing enthusiasts can also try their luck directly from the dock. The lake is home to species including walleye, northern pike, yellow perch and bass.

Bringing your own boat? A boat launch is available at Parc Bellerive, about 10 minutes from the cottage. Please note that the pontoon boat shown in some photos is not included with the rental.

In summer, enjoy swimming, watercraft and sunny days on the lake. In fall, the area offers a peaceful and colourful setting, ideal for slowing down and recharging.

In winter, when ice conditions allow, bring your ice-fishing equipment and enjoy this popular activity on Lake Aylmer. Snowmobile trails are accessible about 2 km from the cottage, through the municipality of Saint-Gérard.

For winter sports enthusiasts, Mont Adstock is about 30 minutes away. There you can enjoy downhill skiing, tubing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

Between Thanksgiving weekend and Victoria Day weekend, the dock and watercraft availability cannot be guaranteed.
