This beautiful cottage for rent overlooks Lake Aylmer in Stratford, on the limits of the Eastern Townships and Chaudière-Appalaches. The activities are as numerous at the cottage as in this wonderful region. The property stands out for its large yard allowing everyone to enjoy the outdoors as well as its small wooded lot.

Lake Aylmer is ideal for all kinds of water activities, such as swimming, fishing and boat trips. The fishing is good there, with its many varieties of fish, including bass, walleye, muskellunge, pike and many others. Enjoy the beautiful dock for relaxing moments in the sun. The water being shallow around the dock, it isn’t suitable for boats or any other watercraft.  If you bring your own boat, please note that it is mandatory on Lake Aylmer to wash the watercrafts before putting them to water. In the evening, relax in front of a cozy fireplace or in the private 4-season hot tub.

In winter, bring your ice fishing equipment; winter fishing is popular there when the ice allows it. Mount Adstock is 30 minutes away from the cottage, where you can go skiing or tubing. This mountain also offers several snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails. From the cottage you will also have direct access to local snowmobile trails.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREMISES

This 3 bedroom closed property will comfortably accommodate groups of up to 10 people. Rest and entertainment mingle beautifully during a stay at this cottage for rent. You will find on the ground floor a fully equipped kitchen ready to be used to prepare all your meals during your stay. A small seating area overlooking the terrace will also be popular for relaxing with the lake view. Downstairs, you will have access to the living room with fireplace and the game room which includes pool table and piano. Take note that the piano can be used to play, especially for children, but isn’t tuned for professionnals.

Main floor: Kitchen and dining room / Living room / Bedroom #1 with 1 Queen bed / Bedroom #2 with 1 Queen bed and a half-bathroom / Complete bathroom with shower / Veranda with a pull out couch
Downstairs: Living room with pool table and Murphy bed / Bedroom # 3 with double bed / half-bathroom.
